CARES Phase 3 Provider Relief Application: Update
As we enter the New Year, we have come to realize that providers are still waiting to obtain their CARES Phase 3 distribution. We have been in close contact with HHS representatives in regards to these delays and recently learned most applications have not yet been updated to show a posting of payment, nor have those applications been denied.
This only means that if you have not yet obtained funds, your application is still under review/ in processing. The distributions payments for Phase 3 will continue to be distributed throughout this entire month. Hopefully we can see these distributions process quickly.
While these applications are still in processing, we want to encourage providers to take this opportunity to set up your enrollment with Optum Bank. As we previously shared, the HHS may send emails to providers informing them “Action Required”. This enrollment can take anywhere from 15-20 business days to process. Save yourself the frustration of waiting, and Get started today! Verifying your practice’s information, submitting your W-9, along with a voided check now, will make for an easier and smoother distribution with the HHS.
We understand how this can be frustrating, and ask that you please continue to monitor your email accounts for any signs of what is referenced above. We also ask that you please inform our associate, Maria Rodriguez, of any and all recently received distributions so that she may confirm the Attest to Payment is completed for Phase 3.
If you have any questions or concerns in regards to this update, or if you need assistance with the Optum Pay enrollment, we ask that you address them all to our associate, Maria at mrodriguez@gpallc.net. She has been working vigilantly to keep on top of all the incoming correspondence from the HHS, while assisting our clients throughout the CARES Act process.
Below we have included the link for Optum Bank Enrollment along with the what is required to finalize the enrollment.
